Two ISO Tanks of anhydrous hydrogen fluoride (Class 8.1) from Xinyuan Chemical New Material Co.,Ltd set sail smoothly from Qinzhou Port. This is the first time that Guizhou's anhydrous hydrogen fluoride products have been exported from Beibu Gulf Port.
On March 3,2025 the "Changling" ship carrying two Iso tanks of anhydrous hydrogen fluoride (Class 8 .1) from Guangdong Xinyuan Chemical New Materials Co., Ltd. set sail smoothly from Qinzhou Port, heading directly to Laos. This is the first time that Guizhou's anhydrous hydrogen fluoride products have been exported from Beibu Gulf Port.
"Beibu Gulf Port is the nearest seaport to Guizhou, but it did not have the qualifications to operate hazardous chemicals such as hydrogen fluoride and hydrofluoric acid in the past. Most of the competitive anhydrous hydrogen fluoride and electronic-grade hydrofluoric acid in Guizhou's Fluoride and phosphide chemicals were shipped abroad from Fuzhou, Fujian.
The activity revolves around the core of "shortening time, reducing costs, and unblocking the sea network". The Provincial Chamber of Commerce and the Guangxi Chamber of Commerce have consulted with the Guangxi Department of Transportation, Beibu Gulf Port Co., Ltd., Terminal Company and other port authorities and operating companies to fully promote the Beibu Gulf Port to add anhydrous hydrogen fluoride export qualifications. By the end of 2024, it will successfully obtain approval for "Port Dangerous Goods Operation Certificates" including Guizhou's advantageous products - hydrogen fluoride, hydrofluoric acid, yellow phosphorus, lighters and other dangerous goods qualifications.
"Guizhou's anhydrous hydrogen fluoride and other products have been adjusted from Fuzhou, Fujian to Qinzhou, Guangxi, and the transportation distance has been shortened from more than 1,500 kilometers to more than 700 kilometers, reducing logistics costs by more than 50%. Based on the export volume of Guizhou's hydrogen fluoride and other products, it is estimated that the logistics cost can be saved by about 60 million yuan each year. Reducing costs will increase benefits and enhance the competitiveness of these products in the international market.
